Ginger Shot

Ginger shots are little mixed drinks made with juiced or shredded ginger root. They are sometimes blended with various other substances, such as lemon juice or manuka honey.

How to make a ginger shot at home..

1. Combine 24 grams of peeled, fresh ginger root with 60 ml of freshly squeezed lemon juice

2. Blend on high speed until cloudy

3. Strain the mixture and reserve the juice

4. Enjoy 30 ml of the mixture each day, store in refrigerator in an airtight bottle

5. If using sweet ingredients, only add a small  amount to limit sugar intake

2. Blend until smooth, strain the mixture to extract juice and enjoy.
